STORK'S NEST

Stork's Nest serves low-income pregnant women, promoting prenatal care participation and healthy behaviors during pregnancy through incentives and education. A collaboration between the March of Dimes and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Stork's Nest was established as a national service program in 1971. There are more than 100 Nests nationwide that serve 25,000 women each year.

Lambda Zeta was the first chapter to receive a Stork's Nest charter from the Zeta Phi Beta National Headquarters in 1972. Today, the chapter operates a Stork's Nest at Augustana Lutheran Church on Wheeler Avenue.
