STORK'S NEST

Stork’s Nest is a long-standing national partnership between Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and the March of Dimes, designed to promote early and consistent prenatal care. Established in 1971 and adopted nationally by Zeta in 1972, the first official Nest was opened by the Lambda Zeta Chapter in Houston, Texas. Today, the chapter operates a Stork's Nest at Augustana Lutheran Church on Wheeler Avenue.

The program combines education and incentives to encourage healthy pregnancies. Participants complete a self-paced prenatal course and earn baby care items by engaging in positive health behaviors. With over 80 Nests nationwide, Stork’s Nest continues to support healthier birth outcomes in our communities.
